Renee Blackwelder began her nursing career in Emergency Medicine but always had a keen interest in aesthetics. Throughout her time as a staff nurse, Renee received numerous accolades, including the Nursing Star Award. She received physician training through Empire Medical and is a proud member of the American Academy of Procedural Medicine. One of her main hobbies includes attending conferences and trainings across the country. She continually invests in training and education to stay updated on the latest techniques and advancements.
Renee's focus is on achieving natural-looking results, emphasizing facial symmetry and balance in her work. Aging and environmental damage are inevitable, but Renee has a treatment plan. She maintains a strong commitment to an integrity-based practice for both aesthetic and medical treatments.
Originally from Monroe, NC, Renee now resides in Myrtle Beach, SC with her husband and three young children. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, traveling, and engaging in community activities.
As the owner of Gloss MD Med Spa, Renee offers a range of toxin and fillers, leveraging patient background and treatment goals to select the most suitable products. The skincare products utilized at Gloss MD are carefully chosen with all skin types in mind. Renee possesses extensive knowledge of facial anatomy and the biological processes of aging, using custom treatment plans to help her clients attain their desired outcomes.

Adel Haque, BS, MD, FAAD, was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, with his parents and five siblings. He attended Georgia Tech on a full scholarship, where he majored in Biochemistry and Chemistry and minored in chemical engineering, graduating with highest honors, the president's award, and a community service recognition. After graduation, he attended the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, where he served on the Honor Council, worked as an anesthesia technician, and was recognized for being in the top 5% of his class in academics and board examination scores.
He completed his internship transitional year at Gwinnett Medical Center in Atlanta and went on to complete his residency at the University of South Florida in Tampa. There, he earned awards as the resident teacher of the year, surgery resident of the year, and cosmetics resident of the year. Additionally, he received a USF service award for outstanding community service and an award as an institutional culture champion for his dedication to improving the lives of his patients, peers, and program.
Originally from India, he brings a sense of camaraderie to every patient encounter, treating each as if they were part of his family. He is also an avid surgeon, having done over a thousand Mohs cases in his residency. Finally, he is also skilled in cosmetics training, ranging from treating benign lesions to Botox to fillers and more.
When not in the clinic, you can find him on a basketball court, spending time with his family, traveling, and volunteering around the city.
